"Healing Sport Injuries
With Chinese Medicine IS a LOT Faster

In fact, modern medicine makes it sound SO difficult to heal from sport injuries. For instance, even with a sprained ankle they'll tell you it can take 2 to 6 months to heal! They may put you on crutches. But it really doesn't have to be this hard or long at all. So learn the techniques that I teach you in these videos as well as in the text.

This first video is about treating sprains and strains. Sports injuries often reoccur and flare up again when treated by Western medicine. That's because they follow misconceptions about the healing process. So this video will help you a lot, as it certainly helped me with a running injury. I used to be so prone to sprained ankles until I found out what to do.

Next, you can heal sport injuries doing the above AND with diet therapy. Diet makes a difference, since you want to keep warm from the inside out. You want to do this, so that your body expends energy to heal itself instead of getting side tracked. The energetics of food are very important in Chinese dietary therapy on the whole, actually.

The other thing you can do for sport injuries, such as a sprained ankle or any lower limb injury, is to walk really slowly. Slow it right down, feel the pain, gently. Ease into the pain. By doing so, you are confronting the pain. But it's slow and steady. Remember what it's like to walk normally and slow down the movement of each step. If it hurts, slow it down even more.

The purpose of this exercise is to prevent a bad habit, where you're favouring a limb or limping. You must show the body, in a VERY gentle way, that you intend it to heal properly. I call it focused healing. A meditation is always about focus. In this case, you are truly focused on the hurt area of your body.

You can do this technique with any joint, including back pain. You move your body in a normal way, going through the motions in a VERY slow way, until you're in pain-no pain. I coach my clients to do this when they come in with pain. They are very often surprised at how fast the pain goes away, because they no longer avoid pain. Avoiding pain means popping pain killers and surgery. Often these do not create the desire result, as you may already know!
