Depression help is here for you to receive. Depression is deep sadness and helplessness. But you can indeed do something about it - if you choose. Like everything else on this website, it's time to change the way you think and feel about your life. I challenge you to do it. There's no point in pussy footing around, anymore! You CAN do the strategies that I have here for you!
You're tired and you're exhausted. You don't feel good. That's because the BODY follows the MIND. Depression affects millions of people and most are medicated. But the medication stops you from asking the questions that need to be asked and the answers that need to be heard. Like, why is this happening? Like, what do I want out of life?
I met a young man once. He suffered from depression, but he did something different. He didn't like it. His mother was also suffering from depression. So he made a bet with her about who would get out of depression first.
He did it. He cured himself using his will power to see and do things differently. He instinctively knew how to create his own depression help.
His mother was not so resolved. So she's still where she is. But he proved to himself that he could make the changes necessary to live a happier life. He was indeed a wise young man. And NEVER on medication.
You can do it too. Depression is a habit of thinking. And like any habit, you can break it and replace it with a much better one. While depressed, you feel like a fly caught in fly paper. Get unstuck by getting unglued!
Here is some depression help:
1. You feel you have no control over the world. Well, that's because you DON'T HAVE control over other people or what happens outside of yourself. 2. You DO HAVE control over your own thoughts, feelings, emotions, the decisions you make, the actions you take based on those decisions, and the results you get. 3. You're not responsible for what others do or don't do merely because you can't control them. You can't force someone to do something. 4. The only exception to #3 is when you're raising and caring for young children, up until the age of majority, whatever it is in your jurisdiction. BUT I'm not saying to use force! 5. Instead, if you want something done that someone else isn't willing to do, then do it yourself. 6. Claim your power. When you feel bad when someone expresses an opinion about something that you like, take it only as an opinion! You don't have to take on their beliefs. They are them and you are YOU. If you do, you're giving away your power. You know this, because you feel bad. If you feel good about it, you're on track. It doesn't matter what others think or say. It matters what you think and feel. 7. I strongly recommend that you learn how to do abdominal breathing and why meditation works along with meditation techniques. Get in touch with your inner guidance system, which include your feelings and emotions and your gentle inner voice. And you hear that WHENEVER you're quiet enough to hear it. This is very good depression help. 8. Negative feelings always indicate that something is wrong. Positive emotions always tell you that you're on the right track. Your inner voice is trying to tell you what to do next - the right thing for you, in order to be happy. 9. All emotions are good in that they are telling you something! Ignoring your feelings and your inner voice always causes unhappiness and helplessness. 10. DO NOT seek approval. No one can make you happy and you cannot make them happy. It's not their job. It's not your job. You're on earth to do what is right for you and to make yourself happy. Get used to this thought! 11. Do NOT ask for permission, EXCEPT from yourself! Do what you like. As long as you are not turning around trying to control other people's lives and taking away their choices, you're on the right track. 12. Have you forgotten what it's like to dream and desire something that means something to YOU? This is very important depression help! Decide what you want and get off your butt and get out there! Have a plan. Take action. Don't ask for permission. Don't look for approval. if you do, you'll be disappointed. No more excuses. Rewire your brain instead.
Here's more strategies in this depression help guide:
1. List all the good things that you have or are happening in your life. You have them. Now bring them into focus. I'm willing to bet that you actually have a lot going for you! 2. Now look at each one and either appreciate or be grateful for whatever it is. Take each one and bring in other thoughts about that topic that feel good to you. 3. As you "feel out" each thought, you decide if that feels better or worse. If it feels better, keep it, write it down. If you feel worse, discard it and look for another thought that feels better. It may be subtle. But keep generating and writing down better thoughts, until you do feel good. 4. Do this exercise for each item on your list.
Here's another strategy for depression help:
1. List every gift and talent that you have. You have those too. And there are probably many. 2. With each one of these, think about the times you used them, the benefits that they brought, how people responded, and more importantly, how you felt while using them.
Now, all I want you to do is to focus on the GOOD in you from now on. Every time, you start feeling negatively, turn it off. And turn yourself to better thoughts around the situation. There is ALWAYS a silver lining even when things go very very wrong. You see, depression is just a bad habit of thinking. Now you can simply replace that habit with a much better one.
